Choosing A Boat For A Seychelles Trip
I’m planning a private boat trip in Seychelles with a small group, and I didn’t expect there to be quite so many things to think about. We want something comfortable, but there’s probably no point booking a huge yacht for just a few people. I’m also trying to decide between a half-day and a full-day trip. A friend suggested checking local boating expertise at charterclick.sc before making a choice, so I’ve been comparing the yachts and catamarans there. For those who’ve done something similar, what did you look at first when choosing a boat?

I’d probably start with the number of people and the amount of time you actually want to spend on the water. That makes it easier to rule out boats that simply don’t fit the plan. I’d also check whether the yacht has a skipper option, especially if nobody in the group wants to deal with navigation during the day. From there, the choice between a yacht and catamaran feels more like a personal preference. If you already know roughly how many people are going and whether you want a shorter or longer trip, the rest should be much easier to narrow down.
